Trip Overview

Ganesh Himal Trek lies in the Eastern Region of Nepal between Lantang National Park and Manaslu Conservation Area. Ganesh Himal is the name of mountain named after the legendary elephant- headed Hindu God Ganesh because the shape of mountain is same as God Ganesh. Ganesh Himal Trek is another best off the beaten trekking destination in Nepal. Unsoiled Flora and Fauna including routes, untouched Cultures and tradition, exotic birds, alpine wilderness destination is Ganesh Himal Trek. Ganesh Himal ranges (I, II, III, IV) Mt. Manaslu, Tibetan ranges, Langtang Ranges and Annapurna Ranges and many more. Wild boar, Jharal, Musk deer, Langur, Leopard, Blue sheep, many exotic birds, Varieties of Medicinal Herbs are inhabitants in the Ganesh Himal trek area.

Detail Itinerary

DAY : 01    Arrival in Kathmandu Airport and transfer to hotel.

DAY : 02    Half day Sightseeing to Kathmandu Dubar Square, Swayambhunath Temple and Buddhanath Stupa.

DAY : 03    Drive to Trisuli Bazar – Nuwakot Durbar and trek to Raising.

DAY : 04    Raising to Samari Bhanjyang (1310m)

DAY : 05    Samari Bhanjyang to Tharpu.

DAY : 06    Tharpu to Chautara.

DAY : 07    Chautara to Marpak lunch and trek to Dharapani.

DAY : 08    Dharapani to Kintangbesi (1720m)

DAY : 09    Kintangbesi to Darkha lunch and trek to Singgang.

DAY : 10    Singgang to Jersyat lunch and trek to Kalamrang.

DAY : 11    Kalamrang to Borang (1640m) lunch and trek to Sertung (1990m)

DAY : 12    Sertung to Kharsagaon lunch and trek to Tipling (2140m)

DAY : 13    Tipling to Pangsang Bhanjyang (3830m) pass and trek to Somdang (3270m)

DAY : 14    Somdang to Jaisuli Kund (4380m)

DAY : 15    Jaisuli Kund to Gatlang (2240m)

DAY : 16    Gatlang to Syabru Bensi (1460m)

DAY : 17    Drive back to Kathmandu (1300m)

DAY : 18    Full day Sightseeing to Pashupatinath Temple, Patan Durbar Square and Bhaktapur Durbar Square.

DAY : 19    Departure from Kathmandu
