Trip Overview

Gokyo is a lake located in the loop of Himalaya form from the flowing of snow in the altitude of (4700m- 5000m). This lake is also named as Dudh Pokhari, both Hindus and Buddhist believes as a holy lake. Overnight at Gokyo lake and early morning ascent up to Gokyo Ri (5360m) will make your day with splendid view Sunrise on the Himalayas likeMt Everest (8848m), Mt. Makalu (8485m), Mt. Lhotse (8383m), Mt. Cho Oyou (8201m) which are the Himalayas above 8000m.

Trek start from Phakding-Namche- Thame and need to Pass Renjo pass (5409m) to reached Gokyo lake situating at the  altitude of 4750m is one best destination welcoming you to Everest Area Trek. You will pass the Gokyo Ri (5457m) .

You will start your trek  Flying  Lukla or Bus through Charikot/ Jiri. Passing through old Sherpa settlement, beautiful monasteries, Rhododendron forests, Yak grazing pasture land, Colorful praying flags, breathe taking snowcapped Himalayas, rainbow creating water falls, diverse Flora and Fauna your final camping will be in GorakShep (5160m). Early morning ascent up to Kalapathar (5545m) will make your tiresome walk more historic. This Kalapathar will be your best morning destination for 360 views with golden Sunrise Himalayas including Mt Everest (8848m), Mt. Makalu (8485m), Mt. Lhotse (8383m), and Mt. CHO Oyou (8201m). You will be standing exactly in front of Mt. Everest. The Best point of Mt. Everest.

Detail Itinerary

DAY: 01 Arrival in Kathmandu Airport and transfer to hotel.

DAY: 02 Half day sightseeing to Kathmandu Durbar Square, Swayambhunath temple and Bouddhanath Stupa.

DAY: 03 Fly from Kathmandu to Lukla (2804m) -trek to Phakding (2623m)

DAY: 04 Phakding to Namche (3440m)

DAY: 05 Namche to Thame (3800m)

DAY: 06 Visit Tashi Laptse – Pachhermo side and overnight at Thame.

DAY: 07 Thame to Lungden (4834m)

DAY: 08 Lungden to Renjo Pass (5409m) -Gokyo Lake (4750m)

DAY: 09 Summit Gokyo Ri (5457m) and trek to Nala (4440m)

DAY: 10 Nala to Phortse (3800m)

DAY: 11 Phortse to Pangboche (4252m)

DAY: 12 Pangboche to Dingboche

DAY: 13 Dingboche to Tengboche Monastery (3867m)

DAY: 14 Tengboche to Kyngjuma.

DAY: 15 Kyangjuma to Phakding.

DAY: 16 Phakding to Lukla.

DAY: 17 Fly back Kathmandu.

DAY: 18 Full day sightseeing  to Pashupatinath Temple, Patan Durbar Square and Bhaktapur Durbar Square..

DAY: 19 Free day in Kathmandu.

DAY: 20 Departure from Kathmandu
