It is nearest tourist destination from Thamel. It is situated inside the Newari community, Sigal. In the ancient time, tantric priest Waku Bajracharyatransfered this Stupa from kashi to here by his mantra (Tantric power). Idol of Panchadhyani Buddha is surrounding this Swyambhunath’s structure stupa. There are many chatyas, temple and Gumbas around this stupa. We can see newari people and visitors from different parts used to hike around here.
